Sustainability is defined as: "avoidance of the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance"

We have taken several steps in this regard. Our San Diego county licensed cottage food business model allows us to reduce our carbon footprint, and our roasting facility runs completely on solar powered energy. We source only Organic and fair-trade coffees whenever possible, and we support small farmers all around the world (Like this farmer pictured here!). We put lots of time and energy into contributing to sustainability. You may not see every behind-the-scenes detail, but ultimately, we believe you will taste the difference in every cup of specialty coffee! Our Roaster

We are a small, local premium coffee roaster in San Diego, CA, that provides fresh roasted coffee beans online. The roaster we use is a Diedrich IR-5 - a relatively small batch roaster that can still handle a large amount of production if needed.

Using a small batch roaster allows us to oversee the small, intricate details of roasting development for quality assurance. We take the artisan approach when roasting specialty coffee, and each batch is roasted fresh to order!
